Content Inside: CLIENT: PROJECT: Porchlight Entertainment & PBS Kids Jay Jay the Jet Plane Website: Educational Games, Content Dev., Content Mgmt System. PBS Kids, Porchlight Entertainment, and Adwire teamed up to create an exceptionally interactive, entertaining, and educational site targeting prereaders. The site was especially designed to serve as a dynamic extension of the hit PBS Kids animated series, "Jay Jay the Jet Plane". The Jay Jay site aids in preschool childrens familiarization of the Internet, and online learning and playing. One of the primary challenges with this project was to create a compelling online destination to which children and their caregivers would return again and again without alienating those users with low bandwidth connections and older equipment. To address this technological challenge, Adwire has developed 9 games using a variety of technologies including Shockwave, Flash and Javascript. In addition, the site includes a library of downloadable and printable activity pages that are intended to be
