Content Inside: SHORT SHIFT KIT FOR 2002-up HONDA CIVIC SI PART # 66.20.61 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS PARTS LIST: TOOLS REQUIRED: 1 ­ SHORT SHIFT BRACKET 1 ­ SHORT SHIFT PLATE 1 ­ 12mm WRENCH 1 ­ HEX WRENCH 4 ­ 10-24 SCREWS 1. Hold shift boot at chrome collar and pull down. Unscrew shift knob and remove. 3. Move shift lever to 4th gear position. Un-clip shift cable end from shift lever and remove cable end from ball stud. Be careful not to completely remove clip from cable end. 2. Remove console cover by pulling up from the bottom to release lower clips and pull up from the top to release upper clips. 4. Insert a 12mm wrench under white plastic bushing and gently pry it off. Make sure to hold on to bushing while prying so it does not fall into the console.
