Content Inside: Here's a story about my ride. I'm now driving a ninth generation, year 2000 Toyota Co- rolla. My corolla didn't come to me brand new. It was a hand me down from the previous sales executives from our company. Stinky with cigarette smoke and fitted with a body kit, it smelt and looked like it should belong to some Ah Beng in the neighbourhood. Nonetheless I was really glad I now have a vehicle to bring me from point to point. I ditched my two-wheeled bicycle immediately. There were no problems switching at all. The problem with the tobacco? Nothing that good ol' Fabrice and a bunch of fresh pan- dan leaves can't fix. I even started to grow a curious fondness for the spoiler and slick skirting. The 2000 Toyota Corolla is quite similar in some ways to my former 1999 Mitsubishi Lancer Sedan. A likeness in particular their sizes, their metallic finishes and that they are both manual cars. So that was settled and I embarked on a carefree lifestyle for the next few years. I can't imagine being without a car. No late night prata suppers, no road trips and having to endure lousy braking rides on Crowns and Cedrics.
